





Тoday, the Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time hosted an interactive excursion “Nauryz. Tanym. Tarikh” dedicated to the holiday Korisu – Amal merekesi.
The route of this interactive excursion implied an interesting narration about Nauryz celebration, its ancient and modern traditions.
The museum's exhibition halls were divided into significant regions of Kazakhstan and excursionists were given puzzles - fragments of the map, with which in the final part it is necessary to make a map of our country.
The excursionists learned about the history of the holiday Amal, Korіsu kүni; peculiarities of steppe democracy and its fundamental body as Kuryltay; received information about Nauryz as an intangible cultural legacy of UNESCO; traditions of Nauryz celebration in Central Asian states.
It was hard for today's youth to believe it, but in Kazakhstan, Nauryz was not celebrated nationwide and on a large scale from 1926 to 1988. For more than 60 years Nauryz was banned as a "relic of the past".
The visitors were presented unique traditional and photo documents, such as the order "On Celebration of Nauryz" from March 26, 1920, signed by the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Turkestan Republic Turar Ryskulov; footage of the celebration of the revived Nauryz in 1988 with the support of U.Zhanibekov; the decree of the President of the Kazakh SSR N. Nazarbayev from March 15, 1991 "On the national holiday of spring - "Nauryz meiramy", the return of Taikazan to Kazakhstan, etc.
In the finale, boys mastered 2 types of asyk game, and girls created small souvenirs with elements of Kazakh ornaments.
It is noteworthy that the excursion was conducted in 4 languages: Kazakh, Russian, English and Chinese. The first participants of the interactive excursion were students of Kazakhstan International Linguistic College, who were able to exchange opinions with the guides in Kazakh, Russian and English and set a goal: to master Chinese.
