The staff of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an exciting museum lesson for pupils of the pre-school group of the capital kindergarten No. 26 "Umit". The lesson was held as part of the popular scientific and educational project for preschoolers "Museum and children. ABC is a guide for the little ones."
The main purpose of the field lesson was to introduce future first-graders to the world of the museum, broaden their horizons and foster a sense of patriotism through the study of national cultural heritage.
In an interactive and playful way, the kids learned why museums are needed and how they preserve history for future generations. They also mastered concepts such as "exhibit" and "collection" for the first time.
The staff showed the children authentic items from the museum's collections: a tennis ball autographed by the legendary tennis player Boris Becker, unique art panels from postage stamps, rare medals and coins.
To learn the material better, the children took part in cognitive quizzes, guessed thematic riddles and played the educational game "Add to the collection".
Such classes help to effectively develop visual and imaginative thinking in children, expand their vocabulary and form aesthetic taste. The game format allows you to enthusiastically and tirelessly absorb knowledge.
