The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan holds a weekly training seminar "Kazakhstan in a new reality: youth in an era of change". Regular training events included high school students from the country's largest megacities and students from the capital.
The project is aimed at popularizing the history of Kazakhstan's statehood, educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and civic consciousness, as well as strengthening creative values among young people.
The program, combining theoretical sessions, interactivity and teamwork, was implemented in two formats. From October 21 to October 22, a two-day remote training seminar was held online for high school students of secondary schools in Almaty and Shymkent. On October 29, an in-person field workshop for students of Astana International University (AIU) was held.
The students studied the key lecture modules in detail: "The Just Kazakhstan Political Course: institutional reforms and new social ethics" and "Youth is a key factor in modernization: opportunities and responsibility". Interactive tasks helped participants consolidate their knowledge, involved them in discussing the role of the new generation in the development of modern society, and provided an opportunity to express their thoughts freely.
According to Anar Toylybayeva, methodologist at the Almaty Daryny Center, the training seminar was informative and productive. She noted that the harmonious combination of theory and interactivity helped students improve their political and legal literacy, gain a deeper understanding of the principles of justice, the rule of law and civic responsibility, and expressed gratitude to the Presidential Center for hosting such a significant educational event.
