On April 28, staff from the Presidential Center's Cultural and Educational Projects Service delivered a guest lecture to students at the Higher College of the Eurasian Humanities Institute. The session addressed urgent environmental challenges and explored potential solutions.

The lecture, "Environmental Problems of Today," provided an in-depth analysis of the current environmental situation. Key topics included climate change, ecosystem degradation, and the sound use of water resources. The lecturer emphasized the importance of Kazakhstan's environmental policy and its international efforts to promote sustainable development.

The meeting also highlighted new government initiatives in education, including President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's recent directive to introduce "green lessons" into the curriculum. As the President noted: "We need to raise a generation that will treat nature with care. I believe it is right to hold special ‘green lessons’ in schools and other educational institutions, which will become an important element of environmental education." This initiative seeks to systematize knowledge and embed environmental responsibility in the culture of every Kazakhstani.
The program aimed to develop students' environmental awareness and civic responsibility. Participants actively discussed the effects of technological progress on nature and the individual's role in preserving biodiversity. Particular attention was paid to how the "green" agenda is transformed into concrete actions at the level of each citizen.
