The "Breath of Spring" art exhibition, marking the 35th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence, opened at the Presidential Center of the DPA RK in partnership with the Astana Artists' Union.
This large-scale creative project brings together leading figures in contemporary art from the capital and features approximately 40 paintings by 20 artists.
The exhibition seeks not only to showcase artistic skill, but also to capture the moment of transition from winter to spring. It aims to inspire residents and visitors with the sense of light and hope that spring brings. For the Astana Artists' Union, this event is a significant step in promoting national art.
The event welcomed around 100 attendees, including cultural leaders, artists, and members of the public.
Each artwork is a unique reflection by the artists on the reawakening of nature, the renewal of life, and that special energy which spring brings to the vast steppes and urban landscapes. The exhibition presents a range of styles and techniques, from classical oil painting to contemporary approaches, and features both established and emerging artists such as Omirali Ismailov, Mazhit Baitenov, Ismail Achilov, Erlan Aituarov, Anuar Igembaev, Adilgali Bayandin, Bakytnur Burdesbekov, Vera Slabospitskaya, Renat Elubaev, Tolesh Botagoz, among others.
