Olzhas Berkinbayev, Advisor and Official Representative of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and laureate of the Daryn State Youth Prize, delivered a guest lecture at the Presidential Center of the DPA RK.
The event was organized for Political Mass Communications students at Narxoz University. It is part of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Presidential Center and Narxoz University, which aims to enhance training for future professionals in social and political science.
Amid significant government reforms, the role of future communications specialists is increasingly important. They are responsible for maintaining a reliable information environment, building ‘information immunity’ among citizens, and counteracting disinformation, helping society consciously participate in the country's constitutional development. The meeting examined how digital media shapes public perception and explored ways to identify hidden manipulation.
The lecture will address information support during the preparation for the national referendum on the draft Constitution of Kazakhstan, the importance of effective communication for process transparency, and a clear public explanation of constitutional amendments.
