From February 4 to 7, 2026, the Kazakhstan Culture Days in Doha, Qatar, featured a gala concert and an exhibition showcasing the work of about 30 Kazakh artists from various arts and crafts.
The Darb Al Saai Cultural and Historical Center served as the main venue, where visitors viewed the exhibition and attended performances of classical Kazakh music. The exhibition highlighted works by Kazakh artisans, featuring diverse techniques and styles, including national motifs in the Art Nouveau style.
The jewelry pavilion attracted significant interest, displaying silver and gold items such as jewelry, cold weapons, saddles, and a saukele headdress, along with panels that blend traditional Kazakh motifs with modern design. Ziyat Satinbek, a leading expert at the Presidential Center of Kazakhstan, attended to share expertise. During a meeting with Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, he presented a kamcha, a symbol of power, respect, and masculinity in Kazakh culture.
Visitors to the exhibition were particularly interested in the rich cultural heritage of the nomads and national sports such as archery, falconry, and hunting with the Kazakh greyhound. Such cultural exchanges foster stronger ties between our peoples, promote mutual understanding, tolerance, and respect for history, and contribute to the strengthening of interethnic relations. International cultural events, including the Days of Kazakhstan Culture, are designed to popularize folk traditions and enhance cultural cooperation, thereby providing a foundation for the further development of international relations.
