The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a literary and musical event, "My three happinesses: my people, my language, my homeland" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of renowned Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev.
The event aimed to promote his creative legacy, highlight the depth of his spiritual world, and encourage appreciation for national poetry and Kazakh cultural values.
Approximately 60 military servicemen from the Aibyn Presidential Regiment of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the event.
The program featured a presentation of library publications on the poet’s life and work, a review of related literature. A performance of the work "The Moor" was also presented to the participants.
The program included a team competition of expressive readings of selected works by M. Makatayev, aimed at developing the participants' artistic taste and abilities. A teacher from the A. Bukeikhan Binom School-Lyceum Zholdybai Altay also performed songs based on M. Makatayev's poems.
At the conclusion of the event, staff from the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and participants performed the song "Men dep oila."
