The expert meeting "A Just Kazakhstan" will be held on February 3, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Presidential Center of the DPA RK.
The purpose of the event is to broadly cover the main provisions of the draft new Constitution of the country, reflecting the new political principles and value matrices that have found their ideological form in the concept of "A Just Kazakhstan," as well as the initiatives of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which create impetus for further gradual and systemic reforms.
The meeting was organized by the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Institute of State History.
The draft new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan has generated widespread public attention and has become the subject of active discussion. The amendments to the Basic Law affect all sections and 77 articles, accounting for over 80% of the text of the Constitution. The draft reflects the foundations of a profound constitutional modernization, during which the content and conceptual approaches to the Basic Law are being radically altered.
The draft Constitution introduces a new government structure to support further democratization. It aims to strengthen Parliament, the judiciary, and civil society, and to ensure a more balanced distribution of powers among government branches.
The event will be attended by members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participants of the 5th National Kurultai, representatives of the scientific community, development institutions, and civil society, as well as leading Kazakhstani experts.
