The Presidential Centre of the DPA RK hosted an open meeting of students of national universities with Kazakhstani cosmonaut, Kazakhstan Halyk Kaharmany, Major General of Aviation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Chairman of the Board of JV Baiterek JSC, Aidyn Aimbetov, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Baikonur Cosmodrome and International Day of Cosmonautics and Civil Aviation.
The event also featured the participation of the State Space Corporation Roscosmos representative in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gennady Saenko. Seventy-five students from various secondary and higher educational institutions in Kazakhstan also attended the event.

Space is closer than it seems—it starts here, in Kazakhstan," emphasized Kazakhstan's cosmonaut, Chairman of the Board of JV Baiterek JSC, Aidyn Aimbetov, in his address.
During the event, the development prospects of space programs, innovations in science and technology, and the role of youth in scientific and engineering achievements were also discussed.
