











Students from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in a two-day seminar and training "A Just Society: Political Principles and Value System" at the Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The purpose of our educational and hands-on sessions is to popularize the solutions and initiatives of President K.K. Tokayev in the process of establishing a fair and rule-of-law state, while also introducing the younger generation to the modern, relevant management approaches and strategic priorities for Kazakhstan’s development. The trainings are aimed at forming personal views on the present and future of Kazakhstan, civic-patriotic consciousness, developing effective personal qualities, discussing and developing ways and specific steps to create a just and honest civil society," said Serik Sydykov, Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of the DPA RK.
On the first day, students attended lectures, completed practical assignments during the training sessions, and visited the Presidential Center’s museum.
On the second day, the participants completed the training course and took part in the meeting "Fair Kazakhstan - a country of equal opportunities and progress".
On the second day, participants concluded their training and took part in a meeting titled "Fair Kazakhstan – A Country of Equal Opportunities and Progress." The keynote speaker was an international expert on the prevention of drug and gaming addiction, Zhandos Aktaev, Chairman of the "ESBOL QORY" Public Foundation (co-founder and chairing organization of the Central Asian Network for the Prevention of Drug Addiction among Youth under the UNODC – United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime).
The two-day training concluded with a certificate-awarding ceremony for all participants and letters of appreciation from the Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, B. Temirbolat, for the most active attendees.
At the end of the event, seminar participants expressed their gratitude to the leadership and staff of the Presidential Center for organizing the seminar-training and providing an opportunity to meet peers from different regions of the country. The event concluded with an impromptu concert.
