On February 13, a meeting titled "From the Worker to a New Quality of the Nation" was held at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As is well known, the year 2025 has been declared the Year of Skilled Trades by a decree of President K.K. Tokayev, to enhance the prestige of vocational trades and implement reforms in the system of technical and vocational education.
The Presidential Center will host a series of meetings and events aimed at promoting values such as hard work, professionalism, and respect for labor, as well as boosting the status and recognition of skilled trades among the youth.
Aybek Orynbekov, Head of Development at BI-Group and a civil engineer specializing in road construction, was the speaker at the meeting. He addressed the participants of the two-day seminar-training "A Just Society: Political Principles and Value Systems," which was attended by students from the Technical and Construction Colleges of Astana, discussing his path into the profession, his career development, and key milestones.
He also provided insights into the specifics of working in the construction industry, showcasing completed projects and emphasizing that "building means shaping the future with your own hands."
The guest speaker also presented several videos illustrating the daily lives of various specialists working in the construction sector.
In addition to his presentation, Aybek Karimovich responded to questions from students and participated in the certificate presentation ceremony.
