On February 3, 2025, a meeting was held between Bakytzhan Temirbolat, Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a delegation from the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan, led by the Acting UN Resident Coordinator, Mr. Stephen O'Malley.
During the meeting, B. Temirbolat congratulated Mr. O'Malley on his appointment to such a distinguished position and emphasized the significance of the delegation’s visit in fostering cultural and humanitarian exchanges between their organizations.
In addition, B. Temirbolat discussed the projects being implemented at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and shared his vision for potential areas of future cooperation.
In turn, Steven O'Malley expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the opportunity to meet and expressed his support for implementing future projects.
In conclusion, both parties reached a mutual understanding of the critical importance of collaboration between Kazakhstan and the United Nations in addressing key global security challenges and advancing the core values enshrined in the UN Charter.
