On January 29, 2025, staff from the Cultural and Educational Projects Service conducted an outreachmuseum lesson titled "Tenge – The National Currency of Kazakhstan" for elementary school students at Gymnasium No. 2 named after Gafu Kairbekov.

During this engaging session, students watched an educational animated film, "How Money Came to Be?" which introduced them to the history of the tenge, the functions of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, and the security features of the national currency.

The children were particularly excited by the interactive tasks. They collected puzzles with images of banknotes and coins, participated in games, and answered questions to consolidate their knowledge.

The lesson aimed to broaden the students' understanding, cultivate interest in the history of the tenge, and raise awareness of the importance of the national currency in the context of Kazakhstan's independence.
