Today, students from School-Gymnasium No. 3 of Astana participated in a museum lesson titled "Kazakh Musical Creativity," held at the Presidential Center of the DPA of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the session, organized in the museum's interactive hall, the students were able to listen to the sounds of ancient Kazakh national instruments: the kobyz, dombra, and zhetygen. They also learned a great deal about the history of these instruments, their creation, and their structure. Additionally, the students were introduced to the creative legacy and biographies of renowned Kazakh composers and musicians, including Korkyt, Dauletkerey Shygayuly, Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly, Dina Nurpeisova, and others. One of the most captivating moments for the listeners was learning about the sazsyrnay, an ancient Kazakh wind instrument.

At the end of the lesson, student Daniyal Zadaev performed the composition "Zhengem suyer" by Dauletkerey on the dombra.

"The lesson went really well. The students had a unique experience immersing themselves in the world of music, interacting with national instruments, and listening to the musical pieces performed. I personally learned a lot of fascinating information as well," shared Gulden Rakhmetollaqyzy, a teacher at School-Gymnasium No. 3.
