In 2024, the participants of the final training seminars of the year titled "Fair Society - Honest Citizen" included 1st-2nd year students from Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University, Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
These two-day training seminars for high school students, college and university students from all regions of Kazakhstan are aimed at popularizing the history of Kazakh statehood and the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and civic consciousness, strengthening the creative values of the younger generation.
During the lectures, participants are guided through the stages of Kazakhstan's journey to independent statehood, the peculiarities of the development of the economy and social sphere, the modernization agenda and conceptual problems of transformations, core issues of achieving a new quality of life in the country, decisions and initiatives of the Head of State K.K. Tokayev on the way of creating a just and lawful state are explained to the listeners. The theoretical part of the program is developed based on strategic documents and the President’s Addresses to the people of Kazakhstan and is regularly updated. In particular, the lectures of the last three months included an analysis of the theses of the September Address to the People of Kazakhstan "Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism".
Practical sessions and training exercises help enhance both individual and team effectiveness among participants.
"As part of the seminar, we learned about many social issues within our society and, most importantly, how to find solutions to them. Thanks to our lecturers, we understood that much depends on us, the youth, and that we can influence situations. Everything is in our hands. Personally, I now have a goal and motivation to serve my country," shared Nurkhia Komekova, a student at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
"I would like to thank the organizers of the online training seminar "Fair Society - Honest Citizen". It was very educational, interesting, and made me reflect on the concept of justice. All the assignments were very engaging. The two days of training awakened a sense of patriotism and pride in our country. We hope that such events will be held more often," said GauharKuanyshbai, a student at Korkyt Ata KyzylordaUniversity.
Since the beginning of the year, 52 training seminars have been held with 1437 participants, including 667 university students, 110 college students, and 660 school students.
