Today in the Presidential Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan for students of the capital's school-gymnasium №63 named after Sherkhan Murtaza a museum lesson ‘Kazakh musical art’ was organised.

During the lesson, held in the interactive hall of the museum, the children got acquainted with the history of the origin and features of such national instruments as kobyz, dombra, zhetigen. The lecturer also told the audience about Kazakh composers and musicians - Dauletkerei Shygayuly, Dina Nurpeisova, Amre Kashaubayev, Nurgisa Tilendiev and others.

In addition, the students listened to famous kyuis, including the folk song ‘Balapan kazdy’, performed on the most ancient wind instrument of the Kazakh people – the sazsyrnai. At the end of the lesson, attendees responded to the speaker's questions and shared their opinions.
