On August 19, 2024, the thematic stock exhibition «In the world of knowledge» has started its work, organized on the basis of the collections of the museum fund of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A significant part of the poems of our great poet Abai is devoted to the topic of education and science. From the point of view of the great poet, education and the constant search for knowledge lead to the goal in human life. It can never be superfluous to study and know a lot, on the contrary, with the help of knowledge, you can find the key to overcoming various obstacles.
The exhibits presented at the exhibition systematically tell about the formation of the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the history of the stages and development of national higher educational institutions, regional state universities and their achievements.
The exhibition is dedicated to the Day of Education - September 1. The history of this holiday began in 1984, during the Soviet Union.
This holiday is a day of new discoveries, achievements and victories, meetings with friends, wise mentors, teachers and the beginning of a journey into the fascinating world of knowledge, when all educational institutions of the country open their doors to pupils and students. We know that this is a special moment that excites everyone. The holiday is important for all of us, it is equally dear to both young and old. As the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev noted, «new knowledge and skills in the era of digital technologies are the key to the future success of a new generation».
The exhibition presents more than 100 historically significant and valuable exhibits from the funds of the museum collection.
The purpose of the exhibition: based on the particularly important artifacts of the museum collection of the Presidential Center, to examine the history of the development of various fields of national education and science, to focus on their role and importance for the multilateral development of society.
