The Presidential Center of the President’s affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an open day "I will take you to the museum" dedicated to the celebration of the International Museum Day.
International Museum Day has been celebrated worldwide on May 18 since 1977. On this day, museums open their doors to everyone, gladly showing their exhibition halls, new exhibits, enlighten, organize thematic lectures, excursions and much more.
The guests of our event were the lancers of the Military College named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov. A special program was prepared for the children aimed at familiarizing them with the cultural and political heritage of the country, the heroic pages of national history, strengthening patriotic feelings and spiritual values, as well as awakening students' interest in research activities.
The future military became participants in museum lessons and thematic excursions. During museum classes, it is the expositions that become a guide to a specific topic. For a more complete immersion of the audience into the atmosphere, the most interesting exhibits are extracted from the museum's funds, which enable children to touch history, consolidate and deepen knowledge, and the museum object acts here not only as an illustration, but also as a source for study.
At the lesson "Kazakhtyn music oneri", held in the interactive hall of the museum, the lancers got acquainted with the history of kobyz, dombra and zhetygen, having learned many interesting facts about the peculiarities of Kazakh national instruments. We learned about the life and creative heritage of famous Kazakh composers and musicians.
In the museum hall "Kazakhstan in the world community" there was a lesson "Institute of Batyrism: traditions, status and weapons", during which the audience learned about the tradition of donating weapons, its history and features, got acquainted with the collections of weapons presented at the exposition. Revealing the concept of "bes karu", the lecturer spoke about the five types of weapons of the Kazakh batyr and the institute of batyrship in general.
In conclusion, the guests had a guided tour of the stock exhibition "Firearms: Pistol History", dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War and the 100th anniversary of R. Koshkarbayev and S. Nurmagambetov.
The exhibition in the sections "Heroes of the Great Patriotic War", "Collection of pistols from the funds of the Presidential Center of the PAA of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan" presents unique samples of historical and modern weapons from the museum collection of the Presidential Center.
The young visitors were very impressed by what they saw.
"The museum left only positive impressions, there are so many different exhibits here, but most of all I liked holding real bladed weapons in my hands, you immediately feel the strength and indestructible spirit inherent in our warriors. And it was also doubly interesting to see archival documents related to the activities of the First Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Sagadat Kozhakhmetovich, whose proud name our educational institution bears",- shared his opinion ulan of the 3rd company of the 3rd Platoon of the S.Nurmagambetov Military College Daniyal Kuanyshev.
Our younger generation are sincere connoisseurs of beauty. Very soon we will celebrate the International Children's Day, and then it will be time for the summer holidays. This is a great opportunity to spend your time usefully and learn a lot of new things, and the museum of the Presidential Center, whose doors are always open to everyone, will be happy to help you with this.
