The Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan announces the annual literary contest "VIII Abai Readings", dedicated to the works of the great Kazakh poet, thinker, founder of Kazakh classical written literature Abai Kunanbayev.
The goals of the Abai Readings project are to popularize the literary legacy of Abai, form a culture of reading and literary taste among Kazakh youth.
Terms of the literary contest:
1. Film an expressive reading of any of Abai’s works (in Kazakh, Russian, English and other languages);
2. Post a video on Instagram with the hashtag #VІІIAbay2024.
3. One participant can submit only one work;
4. Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted from May 15 to August 30, 2024;
5. The application (filled out as shown in the table in the appendix) and the video uploaded to Instagram must be sent by e-mail jansaya2808@mail.ru
Following the results of the competition, the best participants will be awarded special diplomas, letters of thanks, and prizes.
