On May 3, at 3.00 pm, at the Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the opening of the collection exhibition "Firearms: Pistol History" will take place, dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day, Victory Day, and the 100th anniversary of R. Koshkarbaev and S. Nurmagambetov.
The exhibition will feature materials reflecting the heroic exploits of soldiers who defended their motherland during the Great Patriotic War, as well as materials on the formation and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The exhibition will be based on a collection of firearms from the collections of the Presidential Center.
The exhibition will consist of 3 sections:
I. "Heroes of the Great Patriotic War". The section will show materials about the exploits of Kazakh soldiers during the Second World War.
II. "Collection of pistols from the collections of the Presidential Center of the DPA of the Republic of Kazakhstan". In this section, using the example of firearms from the collections of the Presidential Center, the evolution of the development of pistols will be presented - from revolvers to modern small arms.
III. "Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The section introduces viewers to the history of the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, starting on May 7, 1992.
