













The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening of an exhibition of diploma works by young artists of the Gaziza Zhubanova Children's Art School (Temirtau, Karaganda region) "My heart, my support is Kazakhstan!"
The exhibition is organized within the framework of the project "A Look from childhood", aimed at supporting and developing children's creativity and is dedicated to the spring holiday – Nauryz Meiramy.
As Bakytzhan Temirbolat, Director of the Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said in his welcoming speech, the works of young masters of the brush presented today are made at a high artistic level. With their bright colors, original plots and presentation, they literally charge with vital energy, positivity and optimism.
Gulzia Isenova, Director of the UNESCO Children's Art School in Astana, noted that the project "A Look from Childhood" has been implemented for more than 10 years. During this time, thousands of young artists from all regions of Kazakhstan took part in it.
In turn, the Director of the Children's School of Arts named after G. Zhubanova Inna Tikhomirova emphasized how important it is for pupils and teachers from small towns of our republic to have the opportunity to show their creativity to a wide audience in the heart of the capital.
Residents and visitors to Astana are shown around fifty works of art within the exhibition's framework. They are diverse both in technique and genre. These are portraits, still lifes, landscapes, ribbon embroidery, collages, etc. Through creativity, the young artists tried to reflect their vision of the world around them, feelings and experiences, love of history, tradition of their native land. The storyline and composition were carefully worked out together with experienced teachers.
During the event, the teacher of additional education at the Children's Art School held a master class for children "Animalistic genre in the works of artists of Kazakhstan".
The ensemble of dombrists "Alatau" and the choreographic ensemble "Aquarelle" of the music department of the Temirtau Children's Art School also performed at the opening of the exhibition.
For reference: the art department of the Gaziza Zhubanova Children's Art School in Temirtau was established in 1995. Today, there are 13 teachers and 395 students studying here. The art school has opened the way for many talents. Thanks to the knowledge gained, school graduates study at universities not only in Kazakhstan, but also in educational institutions in France and the Czech Republic, Russia and Armenia. Teachers and students of the Children's Art School annually participate in events and exhibitions at the regional, national, and international levels. The creative works of teachers and students of the art department have repeatedly won competitions such as: "Movement" in Troyes (France), "Dare to Create" in Moscow (Russia) and many others.
