High school students from capital schools No. 24, 86, 76, and 72 participated in debates at the next open discussion platform, "Honest Citizen - Honest Worker," at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Two teams put forward arguments in favor of electing the president for one term; the rival speakers, accordingly, opposed it.
The jury members from among students of Astana University, having assessed the persuasiveness of the argumentation and evidence of their position, accuracy and expressiveness, activity, and adherence to the culture of debate, identified the strongest team - “Youth Parliament”. Thus, students from secondary school No. 24 named after Zhusupbek Aymautov advanced to the next round.
All participants of the event were awarded certificates.
