On February 23, 2024 at 15.00 in the Art Gallery of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan the opening of the exhibition “Botai - Uly dala madenieti” (“Botai – culture of the Great Steppe”) will take place.
The Presidential Center organized this exhibition jointly with the North Kazakhstan Regional Museum Association within the framework of the “Kazakhstan Way” project, with the aim of further strengthening partnership and developing inter-museum cooperation.
The purpose of the exhibition is to popularize one of the most important achievements of the country during the years of independence - the archaeological monument “Botai settlement” and the creativity of Kazakh and foreign artists.
At the exhibition “Botai - Uly dala madenieti” (“Botai – the culture of the Great Steppe”), 48 creative and plein air works will be presented to the attention of residents and guests of the capital. Archaeological artifacts, photo and video materials about the Botai settlement, and products of masters of decorative and applied arts supplement the exhibition. There is also an interactive zone with the reconstruction of ancient production sites.
