A meeting of the Academic Council of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The members of the Council were shown the publications created as part of research, exposition-exhibition, and scientific collection initiatives.
The head of the Service of Registration and Storage of Museum Valuables, Gayni Serikbayeva, presented the museum collections catalogue "With Love, Astana" to the members of the Academic Council. She pointed out that the publication commemorating Astana's 25th anniversary reflects not only the actual event series of 2023 but also one of the main focuses of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan's scientific collection activity. The outcome of organizing scientific and citation data on the "History of the Capital" theme group of exhibits from the Presidential Center museum collection is included in the catalogue. More than 80 exhibits from different museum collections are included in the catalogue, which amply illustrates the collection's singularity.
Also was presented the catalogue of museum collections "Tenge is a symbol of independence", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The catalogue reflects the history of the first coins on the territory of ancient Kazakhstan, types of banknotes of the Russian Empire and the USSR, as well as modern Kazakh collectable, jubilee, commemorative banknotes and coins from the collection of the Center. It includes 211 exhibits from collections of numismatics, precious metals and precious stones.
At the meeting of the Academic Council were also discussed and recommended printing the Collection of scientific works of the employees of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Collection of materials of conferences, round tables and forums of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023. As noted by the members of the Academic Council, the undoubted merit of the collections is the content and relevance of the articles presented, supplemented in some cases with informative tables and charts. The publications are of great importance both of scientific-theoretical and applied nature for dissemination and application in the practice of other cultural and educational centers, state and scientific institutions.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Academic Council, Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Temirbolat noted: «The development of the presented editions clearly illustrates the diversified activity of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan on information and image promotion of the initiatives of the Head of State, patriotic education, and popularization of the historical heritage of the country. There was a detailed discussion. All the presented publishing projects are the result of great research work, which was carried out by our colleagues».
