










The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the opening of an exhibition of creative works by members of the International Union of Teachers and Artists "Colors of the Great Steppe", organized by the results of a competition among teachers and artists of Astana.
In her welcoming speech, Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan Botagoz Kaipova noted that the Center supports institutions of additional education by organizing various joint events. The purpose of today's exhibition is to promote the creative realization of teachers-artists, as well as the popularization of fine art in Kazakhstan.
According to Gulzia Isenova, Director of the Astana Children's Art School- UNESCO Club, all those authors whose works can be seen today in the framework of the exhibition are truly talented and versatile personalities. After all, they make time for their own artistic endeavours in addition to imparting artistic knowledge to young Kazakhstanis.
The competition "Colors of the Great Steppe" among the teachers-artists of the capital was initiated by the International Union of Teachers-Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Children's Art School- UNESCO Club of Astana and was announced in September 2023.
The jury evaluated the contestants according to such criteria as originality of design and execution, artistic expressiveness, mastery of composition techniques, coloristic solution, and aesthetic value.
To summarize the results, the 1st Degree Diploma winners were:

2. Smagulova Aktoty;
3. Kabdesh Shalkar;
4. Aituarova Lyudmila;
5. Smagulov Askar;
6. Askarova Gulbaram;
7. Baimukhanov Kuandyk.
Holders of the 2nd degree Diploma:
1. Beisenbaev Dauren;
2. Yesimov Erkinbek;
3. Alpysbaeva Tolganay;
4. Kabylzhaparov Meirbek.
Holders of the 3rd degree Diploma:
1. Zhumagat Fariza;
2. Baigozhanov Alibi;
3. Kamalova Dana;
4. Kozhantaev Tolendi.
In total, the exhibition at the Presidential Center presents more than 70 works, diverse in types of fine art and techniques of execution: painting, graphics, sculpture, works of decorative and applied art. In the works, the authors reflected their vision of the world around them and told about their love for the country, family, culture and traditions of the people.
The exhibition will last until January 25, 2024, at the address: Astana, 1a A.Bokeikhan Street.
