Students from School No. 23 in the capital participated in a museum lesson on "Kazakh musical art", held at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Children learned about the history of the Kazakh people's national instruments during the lecture, and they also listened to the sounds of the dombra, kobyz, and zhetigen in the museum's interactive hall. They also learned a great deal about the lives and compositions of well-known musicians and composers.
The origin stories of the melodies "Aksak kiik" by Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly and "Akku" by Nurgisa Tlendiev piqued the interest of the students. After the class, the pupils actively participated in answering questions and attempted to play the dombra.
