As part of the celebration of the National Currency Day – tenge, the staff of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted thematic tours of the stock exhibition "Tenge is a symbol of independence" for students of Gymnasium No. 79 and students of Astana IT University College.
Students and schoolchildren learned about the path tenge has traveled, were able to take a fresh look at the history of the national currency, reveal its role and significance in the formation and development of the economy of Kazakhstan. With particular interest, young visitors studied medieval coins, silver monetary units, commemorative, investment banknotes and tenge coins made of precious metals presented at the exhibition.
