A visiting lecture titled "Islam in Kazakhstan: history, problems, prospects" was given to students at the Higher College of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute of Astana as part of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan's scientific and educational program.
Along with learning about the history of Islam's introduction and growth throughout our nation, the audience also heard about Islam's significance as one of the primary forces behind the development of the original spirituality and culture of the Kazakh people.
"The history of the development of the Muslim religion in the Kazakh society has an important scientific-theoretical and practical significance. In addition, the "Islamic factor" is increasingly influencing global politics, economy, and international relations, affecting the geopolitical interests of all states", - said the lecturer of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
