On the eve of the Republic Day, October 23, for students of 8-10 grades of the capital's school-gymnasium № 7 named after Gali Ormanov, a visiting lecture on the theme: "Astana is a symbol of independent Kazakhstan" was held.
The audience was presented with extensive material from the collections of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which allowed them to obtain holistic information and get acquainted with essential milestones of the city’s history, the leading initiatives to implement the national project - the creation of a modern capital of the XXI century.
"I would like to thank the Presidential Center personnel for a wonderful lesson about Astana's history. I gained fresh knowledge about my city and developed new perspectives on many homes and structures. "I am happy that my hometown of Astana has such a fascinating and incredible past," Emilia Kozlova, a grade 8 "B" student, shared her impressions.
