The "VII Abai Reading" competition winners will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 17, 2023, at 15:00.
The traditional competition, which attracted about 400 participants from all over the nation, was held to promote the concept of the Head of State K.K.Tokayev's "Adal Azamat," which is based on Abai's teachings about the "Perfect Man," as well as to popularize Abai's literary legacy and cultivate a reading culture and taste in literature among young Kazakhs. The competition is open to teachers, students, kindergarteners, government employees, and armed forces members.
The event will be attended by Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan R.R. Rustemov, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Amantayuly, General Director of the newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan" D. Kamzabekuly, Director of the Research Institute "Abai Academiyasy" of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU Zh.M. Aubakir, as well as public figures, Abai scholars, teachers and university students, school students.
