A large-scale inclusive event, “From Heart to Heart,” was held at the Presidential Center of the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the art therapy session “The Enchanting World of Art.” The event was dedicated to International Children’s Day.
The event was organized by the Presidential Center of the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Society of Children with Disabilities of Astana, and the Psychological Center “My Revival,” with the active support of the Astana branch of the AMANAT Party.
This gathering continued a longstanding tradition aimed at supporting, socializing, and helping children with special needs adapt through creativity, art, and recreational activities.
Approximately 30 participants took part in the event.
The participants were welcomed by Serik Sydykov, Advisor to the Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chairman of the Túńǵysh Primary Party Organization of the Birlik Territorial Branch of the AMANAT Party. In his speech, he warmly congratulated the children and their parents and expressed special gratitude to the partners who have supported the Presidential Center’s important social initiatives for nearly two decades.
“The Presidential Center is always open to initiatives aimed at supporting children and developing their creative potential. Our mission is to create conditions in which children can feel cared for and confident, because every child is talented in their own way. Today’s gathering is yet another opportunity to bring joy to children,” he emphasized.
Alvina Yusupova, Head of the Psychological Center My Revival, noted: “Art therapy is a unique bridge that helps children with special needs open up and relieve emotional stress, while enabling parents to strengthen that delicate bond with their child. The greatest reward for us is seeing hearts come alive by the end of the celebration through the children’s sincere participation.”
A highlight of the festive program was the creative performances by students of the Makhambet Utemisov Palace of Schoolchildren in Astana. The vocal ensemble “Saryn” performed the touching song “Baqyt” (“Happiness”), while the ensemble “Zhalyn” delighted guests with a virtuoso performance of the traditional kui “Korogly.”
As part of the volunteer students’ program, a theatrical performance entitled “When the Heart Awakens” was presented. The play concluded with a large interactive flash mob that brought the children together in a circle for dancing and warm group hugs.
Under the guidance of specialists from the My Revival Psychological Center, participants took part in an art therapy workshop focused on creating handicrafts. During the session, the children were able to fully express their creativity and imagination.
At the conclusion of the event, the organizers presented commemorative gifts to the young participants.
