Jubilee events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the legendary Soviet sniper and Hero of the Soviet Union, Aliya Moldagulova, took place in the Aktobe Region.
The event brought together government and public figures, members of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives from the cultural and scientific communities of Kazakhstan and abroad, along with the heroine's relatives.
Among the honoured guests was a delegation from the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which, as part of the official events, on behalf of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented a unique portrait-mosaic of A. Moldagulova "Mergen kyz Aliya" to the Regional Memorial Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union named after the famous heroine.
This picture is made of glass. The artwork, crafted from glass, was created by artist Madina Sundetovaunder the supervision of Professor A.K. Bapanov of the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts and laureate of the "Tarlan" Award.
