On February 26-27 and March 5-6, employees of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan held two-day webinars “A Just Society: Political Principles and System of Values” for high school students of Astana city, the Akmola and Almaty regions, as well as the Abai region.
The purpose of the educational program is to promote the ideas and initiatives of Kazakhstan’s President, K.K. Tokayev, aimed at establishing a fair and lawful state, as well as to familiarize youth with current managerial decisions and strategic directions for the country’s development. The primary objective of the training sessions is to help young people form their views on the country’s future, develop civic and patriotic consciousness, enhance personal qualities, and engage in discussions on creating a fair and just society.
One of the participants of the seminar-training, a 10th-grade student of Secondary School No. 30 from the village of Yntymak in the Almaty region, Asem Abdimanat, left feedback: “I participated in the seminar ‘A Just Society: Political Principles and the System of Values’ and was deeply impressed. We discussed key principles of a just society, its political and moral aspects. The speakers addressed topics of political justice, legal equality, and the values of society. I especially enjoyed the discussions, where participants could freely express their opinions.”
“A new Kazakhstan needs a new generation with modern qualities, thinking differently. Justice is the top priority in the country's politics,” emphasized Artem Nadtochin, a student of Lyceum School No. 27 in Astana.
Dina Urazbayeva, a geography teacher at Lyceum School No. 27 in the capital, expressed gratitude for organizing the seminar and emphasized the importance of such events for the younger generation of Kazakhstanis. After all, they are not only the future of the country but also active participants in today’s world, capable of making a significant contribution to social, environmental, and political processes.
