
On February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM, a panel discussion titled "80th Anniversary of the United Nations and Kazakhstan’s Role: The Future in Multipolarity" will take place at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event is organized by the Presidential Center of the DPA RK, the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Kazakhstan, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Objectives of the Event:
To mark Kazakhstan’s accession to the United Nations and its contribution to multipolarity.
To discuss the relevance and influence of the United Nations in the contemporary geopolitical and socio-economic context.
To explore Kazakhstan's role in the international community, security, and sustainable development.
To stimulate dialogue on the future of multipolarityand the United Nations' role in addressing global challenges.
Speakers at the panel session will include BakytzhanTemirbolat, Director of the Presidential Center of the DPA RK; Stephen O'Malley, Acting United Nations Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan; Akan Rakhmetullin, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan; HE Marcel Fortuna Biato, Ambassador of Brazil to Kazakhstan; HE Mustafa Kapucu, Ambassador of Turkey to Kazakhstan; BotagozRakesheva, Director of the Research Institute "Public Opinion"; and Dauren Aben, Head of the International Security Department of the Kazakh Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan.
The event will also feature approximately 60 representatives from the United Nations, government agencies of Kazakhstan, the academic community, and the diplomatic corps.
