


At Gymnasium No. 96 in Astana, an informative lesson was held, dedicated to Kazakhstan's national currency – the tenge.
Second-grade students learned about the significance and role of money in the world and the state, as well as the history of the currency's emergence and development. The children were introduced to the history of the tenge, explored images of Kazakhstani banknotes and coins, and examined their various elements and details. In addition, the children learned that there are also collectible coins: commemorative and jubilee coins.
The practical and engaging activity for the second-graders was an interactive game called "Magic Box" and assembling puzzles featuring images of Kazakhstani banknotes.
At the end of the lesson, the instructor emphasized the importance of preserving and respecting the national currency, as it is an integral part of the nation's sovereignty and a key element of its economic and cultural identity.
