The Youth Forum, "Adal Adam—Adal Enbek," dedicated to the Year of Skilled Trades, will take place at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan on February 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
The event is organized by the Presidential Center of the DPA of Kazakhstan, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and the Public Association "Assembly of Youth."
In his Address to the Nation titled "Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism," President K.K. Tokayev declared 2025 as the Year of Vocational Professions.
"Over this period, we will implement reforms in the technical and vocational education system. The Year of Vocational Professions will also promote the values of hard work and professionalism within our society," emphasized the Head of State.
The primary goal of the Youth Forum is to popularize the image of the working individual and promote the principles of respect for labor through motivational sessions with well-known professionals from various industries.
The event will address ways to enhance the recognition and value of skilled trades among young people, the challenges of providing high-quality vocational education, and ensuring the labor market is supplied with specialists who possess modern skills and competencies.
The Youth Forum will be attended by M.A. Azilkhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan; S.K. Zhakupova, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan; G.B. Beisembayev, Minister of Education of Kazakhstan; as well as representatives from "Qarmet" JSC and "Kazakhmys" LLP.
The forum program will include a plenary session and TEDx-style panel discussions. These panels will be divided into two blocks:
• The first block will feature seasoned professionals and labor veterans, including individuals awarded the title "Yenbek Yeri," who will share the story of their professional journey.
• The second block will highlight young professionals, public opinion leaders, and entrepreneurs.
The goal of the speakers is to motivate young people to realize their potential in specific industries, popularize working specialties, and demonstrate their professional paths as examples for the youth.
