An excursion-interview with the singer, actor, director, poet and playwright Kanat Zhunusov was held at the Presidential Center of the Department Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the exhibition "Essays on Historical Figures" dedicated to the statesmenand public figures Saken Seifullin, MukhametzhanTynyshbayev, Mustafa Shokai, and Turar Ryskulov.

It is important to note that the excursion-interview, structured as a meeting, addressed key values such as hard work, professionalism, and creativity.

The event was attended by around 100 students from Astana Medical University, Magzhan ZhumabayevInternational College, and Astana Technological College. In his Address to the People of Kazakhstan, President K.K. Tokayev emphasized: "People who achieve success through honest and persistent labor should always be respected and honored. In a word, qualities such as hard work and professionalism must be highly valued in our society. Specialists who master their profession will elevate the quality of the nation."

Kanat Kurmashevich Zhunusov, who brought a new vision to modern Kazakh art and rethought the cultural legacy, is the living embodiment of true hard work. He is a master of his craft, a man of tireless effort, who combines the talents of a poet, singer, and actor, creating unique works with a bright author's style in domestic drama. What does it mean to be a hardworking person? First and foremost, it is someone who works honestly. A person who invests their soul into their work truly deserves to be called hardworking!

"Meeting with the younger generation in such a large cultural environment is a great joy. I would like to express my gratitude to the Presidential Center for organizing such a wonderful event. My goal is to increase the interest of the younger generation in understanding our national history by highlighting lesser-known facts about the heroes of our people. Much of the credit for the return of the true self-designation 'Kazakh' to the Kazakh people goes to Saken Seifullin. He dedicated nearly 20 years to popular education, enlightenment, the development of culture, and the spiritual heritage of the Kazakhs. He is the author of school and university textbooks on Kazakh literature, which served for many years as the primary educational materials for students and teachers. Saken Seifullin was one of the first to almost completely collected, systematized, and published Kazakh folklore in the 1930s. For him, issues of culture and spiritual legacy were always a priority. One of the first documents developed and signed by him as Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of Education was the establishment of archival and museum affairs in the republic. It is also worth noting that it was during his leadership that Kazakhstan adopted the international time standard. With the inclusion of Kazakhstan's territory into the legal and sociocultural space of international informational standards, time became linear and was aligned with the global standard. S. Seifullin was one of the key figures in bringing this influence to Kazakhstan," noted Kanat Zhunusov at the meeting with students from secondary and higher educational institutions in the capital.

Kanat Zhunusov is the author of more than 200 songs, about 50 literary evenings and many dramatic works. In 2014, he held the first Creative Week in the history of Kazakhstani art, which united several genres, and in 2024, he organized the first Creative Decade called "Koltanba".

During the meeting with representatives of youth was organized screening of the film-concert by K. Zhunusov"Saken", telling about the life path of Saken Seyfullin.

"Thanks to today's event, we have learned a lot of new things about the history of our country, its heroes, and the outstanding historical figures of Kazakhstan. We were deeply impressed by Kanat Kurmashevich Zhunusov'sfilm-concert 'Saken.' I believe this is a great opportunity for us to learn about the history of the Kazakh people and the state through such a film and the museum exhibits at the Presidential Center, experiencing it in a completely new way. I am grateful to the Presidential Center for organizing such a meeting," shared Uzbek Zhannerke, a student from Magzhan Zhumabayev International College.

A person of versatile talent, including theatrical and stage arts, Zhunusov approached dramaturgy with a national vision and created numerous original works aimed at unveiling the personality of the statesman SakenSeifullin, performing the leading role both on stage and in documentary films.

At the end of the creative meeting, Kanat Zhunusov was awarded a letter of thanks from the Director of the Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
