The traditional annual Shyzhyre Festival, "My Family's History is the History of My Homeland", dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was organized and held by the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with the Methodological Center of the Akimat of Astana and preschool educational institutions. The festival aims to foster the socio-moral culture of children, promote effective interaction with the families of the children for the preservation and development of family values, spiritual culture in the family, and the revival of family and national traditions.
Acting Director of the Presidential Center of DPA of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gave a welcoming speech and expressed gratitude to all festival participants.
"The main goal of today's event is to instill a sense of patriotism in the younger generation and preserve national traditions," said Serik Sydykov.
During the festival, pupils of the capital's kindergartens and their relatives creatively presented the stories of their families and genealogical trees "Zheti Ata."

In the nomination "Model family": The Zhulkybaev family (Kindergarten No. 53 "Merei").
In the nomination "A family that promotes national values": The Meshel family (Kindergarten No. 92 "Zhauqazyn").
In the nomination "A family with a deep history": The Zulpukharov family (Kindergarten No. 74 "Dauren").
In the nomination "Artistic family": The Tursynbayev family (Kindergarten No. 67 "Shugyla").
In the nomination "A harmonious family": The Baubekov family (Kindergarten No. 58 "Orken").
In the nomination "A moral family": The Temirkhanov family (Kindergarten No. 35 "Ertagi").
In the nomination "An honorable family": The Aslan family (Kindergarten No. 5 "Akbota").
All participants received certificates and commemorative gifts.
The heads and teachers of kindergartens were presented with letters of gratitude from the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
