On November 12 and 15 this year, employees of the Presidential Centre of the DPA RK held outreach museum lessons in the capital's Karim Mynbayevschool-lyceum No. 59 and secondary school No. 99.
On 15 November 1993, independent Kazakhstan introduced its currency, the tenge, which allowed our state to strengthen its independence, build and develop a market economy.
November 15 is celebrated as Day of the National Currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is also a professional holiday for workers in the country's financial sector.
The lesson "Tenge: The National Currency of Kazakhstan" is aimed at expanding younger students' knowledge and cultivating an interest in the history of the tenge’s introduction, as well as the broader history of Kazakhstan’s independence.
During this engaging lesson, students learned about the origins of money, the different types of currency, and explored the history of the Kazakhstani tenge and its unique features. Game-based activities and an informative cartoon helped students grasp and consolidate the new information.
