Preschoolers in the "Altynai" group of kindergarten No. 89 "Kyz Zhibek" in Astana participated in an outreach museum lesson led by staff members of the Presidential Center of the DPA of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following a familiarization game, the children guessed riddles and expanded their vocabulary by learning about the terms "museum," "exhibit," and "collection."
A unique feature of the lesson is the real opportunity to handle authentic exhibits from the museum collections of the Presidential Center of the DPA RK.
During the interactive game "Add to the collection," the children consolidated the knowledge they had acquired by responding to questions.
The kindergarten Head, Zhanar Mukasheva, thanked the Presidential Center employees for the lesson, noted the children's active interest, and expressed hope for further collaboration.
