










The Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan was founded in 2006 by the famous artist, head of the famous Akanayev artists’ dynasty, Amandos Atibekuly Akanayev. The Academy was created based on the example of the Russian Academy of Arts, which is as important a structure as the Academy of Sciences.
Over 17 years of activity, the Academy has consolidated recognized masters of domestic fine and decorative applied arts, scholars in the field of art history, architects, and writers into the highest form of scientific and creative organization. Today, the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan is a public foundation that has accumulated a huge creative and practical experience, having formed its national traditions.
The Art Gallery of the Presidential Center presents works by famous Kazakhstani masters of painting and graphics, such as A. Akanaev, J. Musapir, J. Ermukhan, K. Zakirov, N. Bube, B. Akanaeva, V. Polikarpov, A. Akhatbakiev, B. Akanaev, M. Myrzaliev-Akanaev, A. Nakisbekov, E. Zhapak, M. Kantarbayev, A. Blok, M. Nysanbayev, A. Ali, I. Nurbolat, A. Omirzak, T. Batanov.
All 23 paintings on the initiative of the President of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan A.A. Akanaev will be transferred to the collection of fine arts of the Presidential Center.
