Visiting museum lessons for kids of pre-school groups "Duman" and "Shabyt" were held in the kindergarten "Arailym" No. 20 in Astana within the framework of the scientific and educational project "Atameken" of the Presidential Center of the DPA of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The goals of the Atameken project are to foster respect for the history of their homeland, culture, traditions, historical monuments and the capital of Kazakhstan, to form a sense of patriotism, as well as the development of communication, research skills, independent thinking and creative abilities in preschool and school-age children.
During the lesson, the pre-school children consolidated their knowledge of the letters of the alphabet by solving riddles, completing game tasks and getting acquainted with museum exhibits from the collections of the Presidential Center. The children also enriched their vocabulary with new words and concepts.
