In nursery kindergarten No. 8, "Duman," a field museum lesson was held within the framework of the scientific-educational project "Atameken" of the Presidential Center of the Presidential Affairs Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The project's goals are to instil in preschoolers and school-age children a respect for their nation's history, culture, customs, historical sites, and the capital city of Kazakhstan, foster a sense of patriotism and encourage the growth of their communication, research, and independent thinking skills.

Through interaction with museum displays, the preschoolers solidified their understanding of the alphabetic letters during educational session. During the lesson, a multimedia presentation and exhibits from the collections of the Museum of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan were used to develop visual and imaginative thinking and enrich the vocabulary of future schoolchildren. The development of the ability to analyze, generalize and the ability to independently draw conclusions and clearly identify the most characteristic, expressive features of an object was helped by solving riddles and completing game tasks.

The children also learned new words and concepts, became acquainted with the museum's world, and showed interest in visiting it.
