The Presidential Center of the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the grand opening of the exhibition of young artists of the Aksu Children's Art School "Wind of Change".
The exhibition dedicated to International Children's Day was organized within the framework of the Republican Program for the Support of Children's creativity "Tugan olkem" in cooperation with the UNESCO Children's Art School-Club of Astana.
As Botagoz Kaipova, Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted in her welcoming speech, the works presented today are very bright, the palette of colors used evokes not just interest in life, but truly bright positive emotions and childish joy, something that we all miss so much.
According to Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azhar Sagandykova, it is very important that children's art schools not only hold exhibitions in their region but also share the successes of their students with a large number of people by participating in such republican programs.
Gulzia Isenova, Director of the UNESCO Children's Art School-Club, emphasized the work of teachers who help children discover their creative potential because through the works young artists not only convey their vision of the world but learn to love, create and be creators.
In turn, Almagul Akhmetova, Deputy Head of the Department of Education of the city of Aksu, thanked the organizers of the event for the provided platform and expressed confidence that this exhibition will help the authors of paintings in their further development and self-improvement.
About 45 works by talented students of the Aksu Children's Art School, which celebrated its 60th anniversary this academic year, are presented to residents and guests of the capital. In these works, young artists tried to reflect their vision of the world around them, feelings and experiences, love of history, and traditions of their native land. The storyline and composition were carefully worked out together with experienced teachers.
In addition, on the opening day of the exhibition, the teacher of additional education at the Children's Art School held a master class for children on the theme "Landscape in watercolor: Reflection".
The exhibition will last until June 21, 2024.
