From April 3 to April 11, students from schools in Kostanay, North Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions underwent online training under the training seminar program of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The two-day seminar-training "Fair Society - Honest Citizen" are aimed at popularizing the history of Kazakhstan's statehood, educating the country's youth in the spirit of patriotism and civic consciousness, and strengthening the creative values of the younger generation.
The thought-provoking and engaging lectures as well as the hands-on, interactive training always impress the participants, and they provide us with feedback.
Violetta Vovchenko, 9th-grade student atSholaksay secondary school (Naurzum district, Kostanay region): “The topic of the seminar is very relevant today. A very large amount of material is given in a short period (only 2 days). Nothing superfluous, everything only on business. I really liked it that a form of discussion, live communication has been built, there is an opportunity to ask questions and receive competent answers.”
Amina Atazhanova, 11th-grade student of school-gymnasium No. 24, Taraz: “We were glad to take part in this event. Vivid examples helped us understand the distinctions between justice and equality as we broadened our knowledge and were acquainted with a variety of views of justice. We examined and discussed the qualities of modern youth, strengths, and weaknesses, and understood what needs to be worked on.”
Andrey Stepanyuk, 11th-grade student ofPokrovskaya secondary school (Esilsky district, North Kazakhstan region): “During the seminar, current social, political, and economic issues were voiced. They talked about the equality of men and women in modern society, the role of the younger generation in the formation of modern Kazakhstan, the democratization of elections, etc. Carrying out such events contributes to the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism among young people!”
