Pupils of the pre-school group "Ademi-ai" of kindergarten No. 53 "Merey" in Astana took part in a museum lesson conducted by the staff of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
These lessons are carried out to implement the educational function of the Presidential Center based on its museum collection within the scientific and educational project "Atameken". The project is aimed at fostering love for their land, native culture, the formation of a sense of patriotism, as well as the development of communication, research skills, independent thinking, and creative abilities in preschool and school-age children.
During the lesson, the kids got acquainted with the activities of the Presidential Center Museum, were able to see and handle some of its exhibits, consolidated their acquaintance with the alphabet, and enriched their vocabulary with new words.
"That integrated lesson was incredibly fascinating. Various forms and methods of teaching were used in the lesson. The kids solved puzzles, enthusiastically responded to questions, examined the exhibits, and took part in the didactic game with great interest," said Aynash Sadvakasova, the group's educator.
