Students from the International University of Astana and the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute attended the two-day training seminar "New Kazakhstan: Fair Society" on November 2 at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Lectures on the "trajectory of progress" to the New Kazakhstan, the socio-cultural aspirations of Kazakhstani society, the construction of new values, and conceptual principles of justice were given to the youth. During hands-on learning sessions, students gained skills in developing and presenting projects.
In addition, the training seminar attendees got the chance to meet well-known Bolashak scholarship recipients, learn about their accomplishments and success stories, and receive guidance and inspiration for creating and reaching goals.
"The program was comprehensive and included training and introductory lectures on current issues. Students were encouraged to think critically and share their ideas about what justice means to them and how they envision our nation's future development. An excursion to the museum was organized, where, in a lively, interesting, innovative format, students were able to immerse themselves in the history of the formation of modern independent Kazakhstan. The meetup with Bolashak Award scholarship holders inspired the students for continuous self-improvement and development, new accomplishments and achievements, and also charged them with positivity and creativity. In general, I would like to note that the organizers managed to get a lively response from students. The youth were persuaded that they were seen and heard in contemporary Kazakhstan, that their opinions and proposals mattered, and that the conversation topics and questions were not selected at random. Each of them has already consciously reconsidered the idea that they are the future of the country, and this is worth a lot", - said Victoria Siryachenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute.
