







The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Foundation of Turkic Culture and Heritage presented the "Abay Azәрbаycanda vә dünyada" collection of Abai Kunanbayev's works in Azerbaijani.
The event was attended by state and public figures of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations of Turkic-speaking countries, scientists, writers, and students of top universities of Kazakhstan.
The publication features publications about the life and work of the great Abai and photographs of statues and busts of the thinker installed in his honor in different countries of the world.
The edition has a circulation of 500 copies. In addition, an electronic version of the collection is also available for the general reader.
As Botagoz Kaipova, Deputy Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted in her welcoming speech, Abai Kunanbayev's name is inscribed in golden letters in the cultural heritage not only of the Kazakh people but also of the whole Turkic world.
According to the President of the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage, Gunai Afandiyeva, this collection, another publishing endeavor of the Foundation, embodies the deep love and respect for Abai's work in Azerbaijan.
In turn, Shahin Majid oglu Mustafayev, President of the International Turkic Academy, emphasized that this great philosopher and educator's works remain relevant today. On the contrary, its heritage requires even more careful and in-depth study because it contains the age-old wisdom of the Turkic peoples.
Agalar Rahim oglu Atamoglanov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador ofAzerbaijan to Kazakhstan, also noted the commitment of the outstanding poet Abai to the ideas of humanism and morality, which is especially relevant in contemporary society.
At the end of the event, a Memorandum was signed between the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage. The focus of this document is the topic of close collaboration in the implementation of collaborative cultural, educational, and research projects to research the history of the evolution of Turkic culture.
